Later in the week, I'm taking a short trip outside of Beijing, for work. I'm having a rough time finding some key language skills for my team (Japanese & Korean), so it's off to Dalian & somewhere in Jilin province (not sure of the name of the city) to locate the skills. Dalian has a large population of second generation Japanese, as well as some schools that specialize in teach Japanese. Jilin province is home to many Korean immigrants, I'm told many of which come from North Korea.I'm looking forward to it, but more than anything, I hope I find the skills I need.
